We are seeking a contracted Physician’s Assistant to become a part of our team! We are looking to grow our clinic and have multiple opportunities, 1-3 days a week at multiple locations- Savannah, Hinesville, and/or Brunswick locations.
Our Injury Center has treated tens of thousands of satisfied patients over the years. Our locations integrate medical services to our patients by combining Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Interventional Pain Management for pain related conditions.
At our Injury Centers, our goal is to provide the same level of care that we would expect for our own family members. Your goal is to listen to each story and perspective to ascertain important information to correctly diagnose each ailment and propose an appropriate treatment plan. Personal Injury or Pain Management experience is must as well as experience with administering trigger point injections.
- Conducting thorough medical examinations and assessments with a focus on evidence-based care.
- Diagnosing and treating various injuries.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Prescribing medications and treatments.
- Performing trigger point injections.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Documenting patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Communicating effectively with medical assistants and other support staff.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with patients.
- Educating patients about their medical conditions and treatment options.
- Providing empathetic and compassionate care.
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
- An active and unencumbered medical license in the state of Georgia
- Active malpractice insurance
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Efficient time management in our busy clinic.
- Timely completion of notes/charting in the patient’s medical record.
- Orthopedic and/or physical medicine background is a plus, as practices are acute, non-life threatening, injury care
- Must be comfortable with learning how to administer trigger point injections, if not already versed
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Spanish speaking preferred, but not required
