Job Summary: We are a boutique-style primary care practice with locations in Central Austin and Lakeway, Texas. Our team’s physician is board-certified in family medicine. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our practice. The PA will work collaboratively with Dr. Brynna Connor and our team to provide high-quality medical care to our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent spoken and written communication abilities, and the successful applicant will hold a very strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests with physician supervision; A great candidate will be comfortable seeing patients of all ages for urgent care needs as well as seeing new patients to establish care for comprehensive medical care. Our new physician assistant will develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Connor.
2906 Medical Arts Street, Austin, TX 78705 P: 512-382-9500 Provide preventative care, including immunizations, health screenings, and patient education. Manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform minor procedures, such as wound care, injections, and skin biopsies. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using electronic health records (EHR). Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, medical assistants, and specialists. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. Adhere to all HIPAA and regulatory guidelines. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Texas. NCCPA certification. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of family medicine principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using EHR systems. A passion for delivering patient-centered care and dedication to continuous learning.
